Missing Child Policy

In the unlikely event that a child goes missing from GetWise, the following procedure will be put in place:

• Count the remaining children and make sure they are not at risk
• Attempt to contact the child on their mobile phone if they have one
• All available staff search the grounds and immediate surrounding roads
• Contact the police
• Contact the parents/carers or emergency numbers

Following such an incident a thorough investigation will be undertaken.

The Management Team will conduct the investigation. They will take full written statements from all staff present at the time and produce a report giving a conclusion as to how the breach in security occurred.
